German artist Encore was in town for a few days, and we just met last week for a nice chat. While here, he also left some paste ups around the city. He was kind enough to send some flicks of the paste-ups as well as share some stories from his days in Lisboa.

We’re having lunch and talking about his paste ups and I ask him to show me the places and posters he left up, on his machine camera. I suddenly notice he has one poster near the river, which I had seen two days ago on my weekly bike tours. And I tell him something like this:
me – Ah man, yeah yeah. I recognize this poster. It’s near the river right?
Encore – Yes, near the river.
me – yeah yeah, I saw this one two days ago. Actually, I remember seeing a guy there taking some pics to the poster and…
Encore – You were the guy on the bike?!?
me – You were the guy taking the picture?!?
We both laugh realizing we had just “met” two days before.
