On the very same week that I found out all Portuguese tiles from my local library had been stolen (they had been taken down for restoration, but have been stolen in the meanwhile), I also came across this project that turns the concrete wall left abandoned, and revisits it in the form of stencil, filling the gaps in between that our Portuguese heritage hasn’t been able to. Recuperarte (Recover+Art) is the name of the project.
