OFFF’09 – day 3

Right out of OFFF, the last day was probably the weakest in terms of presentations. I’m taking in account that whoever is presenting, must have the minimal sensibility to find out if the audience is falling asleep or not. Either choose a different approach, or tell us something we don’t know just by looking at your website. We do know your website, so there’s no point in showing it all over again like it’s something new. Show us your methods, your particularities, your secret confidences and you’re pretty much assured to succeed. So, Stefan Sagmeister was that surprise for me today. Had no idea on what I was about to see, so getting a giant Austrian in a polka-dot dress to give a wonderful lecture on happiness was the cherry on top. Here’s a video on TED talks.
