Alexandre Farto aka Vhils latest solo show in Lisboa has been packed for weeks, but we finally managed to get some shots. The place for his most recent exhibition is set at the Electricity Museum of Lisboa, one of Portugal’s main art institutions. Getting inside, you start by entering a dark hall with several walls stenciled playing videos on the background all at the same time, showcasing a unique experience to Vhils latest graphical and typographical work. Proceeding through the various custom made rooms, you’ll enter different areas to experience distinct styles within his works. Giving the show it’s name, you culminate your journey with a dissected subway train suspended in the air, where an upside down view is a must. The exhibition “Dissection” opened it’s doors July 4th and will remain open until October 5th.
