Again, what better to find on the streets if not the thoughts of the neighborhood people. Today is Santo António’s day, which if you’re not Portuguese might not be familiar with. Santo António is like the “cupid saint” or “matchmaker” of Portugal. This is probably the biggest party in Lisboa throughout the year, which starts right the night before, with the famous “marchas” of the neighborhoods going down the avenue, and basically everybody is out on the streets eating sardines and partying. This pic, shows the good humour in the balcony of a Portuguese woman.
